VALENTINES BALL

Drakondale has established a tradition of a Valentine’s Ball on the 14th Feb annually and this year did not disappoint. Fun was held by all learners and chaperones alike. Valentine's Day symbolizes love, kindness, and friendship, all the positive feelings that every learner should experience, especially at an arts school. We believe by making this day special and including it as a big part of the school calendar allows our learners to appreciate these positive messages in the right way. Our learners and their entrepreneurial spirit begin the week leading up to the Valentine’s Ball by selling home-made cards with beautiful sentimental messages which they themselves will hand-deliver for a fee.

Proceeds raised will assist with preparation for the Matric Ball 2023 and the purchase of resources for the Visual Arts Department.
