Another Matric Farewell Fundraiser: Horror Movie Night

Drakondale hosted a chilling evening of suspense with the South African horror production 8. Rooted in local culture and folklore, the film explores the tension between traditional spiritual beliefs and the Christian faith, weaving these themes into a haunting story that is both thought-provoking and unsettling.

This turned out to be a evening where fear met reflection, and where a South African story took centre stage in a gripping cinematic experience. Thank you Ms. S. Mngadi and the Grade 11 class who took charge of this fundraiser, you are certainly working extremely hard to ensure the CLASS OF 2026 have a memorable MATRIC FAREWELL. This is the fourth fundraiser for the term to date.
