German sponsors honour Drakondale High with a meaningful visit

Drakondale High had the pleasure of welcoming our valued German sponsors from Lucky Beans e.V. on Friday, the 7th of March 2026. We were honoured to host Steffi and Jürgen, who visited together with their three adult children, spending time with our learners and staff. They were hosted to tea by Paula Tungay and Mrs. Beverley Cameron.

During their visit, the family toured several academic classes and experienced the vibrant life of Drakondale first-hand.
To celebrate their presence, our learners presented a short performance highlighting the talents of our Dance, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts departments. The showcase reflected the creativity, dedication, and spirit that thrive within our school community.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support and partnership of Lucky Beans, whose commitment helps nurture the educational and creative journey of our learners. Their visit was a meaningful reminder of the friendships and shared vision that connect our communities across continents and the fact that strangers are willing to invest in learners, they have never met and in a country they are visiting for the first time – a true testament to the power of education.
