Outstanding Achievement in Music!

Congratulations to Samekelo Duma, who placed first in the UNISA South African Music Scholarship Competition 2025! Sam was awarded both the Deon van der Walt Scholarship cash prize and the UNISA Developing Artist Award. His success reflects years of dedication and passion, nurtured under the mentorship and baton of Mr. Botes C. Gresse.

After completing his Grade 12 (with 5 distinctions) at Drakondale School of the Arts, Sam continues to pursue his dream of a post-matric music qualification. He also achieved a distinction in his UNISA Music Grade 8 Exam.
